Lt. Gen. Hun Manet Attends Closing Ceremony of 30th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet in Hanoi

HANOI: On Thursday, 11 November 2022, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), Lt. Gen. Hun Manet, attended the closing ceremony of the 30th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet in Hanoi, Vietnam, in which 55 members of the Cambodian Army participated.

The Vietnam People's Army organized spectacular art performances for this occasion, and the Commander of the Army and representatives from the ten ASEAN nations also took part in shooting competitions and friendship tree plantings.

The annual event was postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it was finally held in 2022 with a spirit of mutual fraternity.

The ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) will be hosted again by the Royal Thai Army in 2023, along with the ASEAN Chiefs of Army Multilateral Meeting (ACAMM) and the Army Sergeant Majors Annual Meeting (ASMAM).
